Multiplayer in Assassin's Creed 2?

"Multiplayer in Assassin's Creed 2?", this is a great question posted by Assassin's Creed Forum member, DarknessDeath, and it's definitely something that I'm sure we're all hoping to see in Assassin's Creed 2. I mean, c'mon, how mind-bogglingly incredible would it be to be able to play through Assassin's Creed 2 with your best friend by your side and take out those pesky Templars co-operatively?

Until DarknessDeath mentioned it, I don't think I'd even considered the idea of a multiplayer component in an Assassin's Creed title. It certainly is a shame that the original Assassin's Creed did not feature multiplayer of some sort but I'm sure some would argue that Assassin's Creed is absolutely perfectly suited to being a single player experience and the inclusion of multiplayer would have ruined it. Whichever side of the fence you sit, I'm sure you will agree that the idea of mutiplayer in Assassin's Creed 2 is definitely something that is worthy of discussion.

Personally, I would love to see a co-op mode included in Assassin's Creed 2, but I'd love to hear what you guys think. Be sure to post your opinion and have your say.
