A patch for the PC version of Ubisofts award winning Assassins Creed is on the way to fix numerous game crashing issues the game has been suffering from. However this patch will also remove DirectX 10.1 support from the game.
Ubisoft is preparing a patch for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed that will address a number of game-crashing issues that plagued its release - and remove DirectX 10.1 support.
In the past two weeks, players have reported numerous problems, ranging from unnecessarily long exit times to the game conking out whilst trying to connect to an Ubisoft IP address every couple of seconds.
According to Ubisoft’s website, the company doesn’t have an exact date for the release of the patch but says “we’re hard at work and hope to have further updates soon.”
Unfortunately, the patch will also remove support for DirectX 10.1, so Ubisoft can tweak it.
