Assassin’s Creed PC Version Delayed

Though Ubisoft’s much anticipated title Assassin’s Creed will be released this November for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, the PC version has reportedly been delayed until early 2008, according to their latest press release concerning their holiday lineup.
Assassin’s Creed – One of the most anticipated video games of the year comes to the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system in November, and to PC in early 2008.

nuh i am pissed off that i will have to wait even longer than i already have and thats like 4-5 months lol but it is gonna be SWEET and while your waiting play some other games so when you get it it will be EVEN BETTER! (cause all other games are no where nearly as good compared to Assassins Creed!)

i agree, this is the first website i found that actually states that assassins creed comes out on PC.
im so peep, even though it will take longer ill just play crysis in the mean time.

Ubi creates a console game and then needs time to port it to PC? No thanks. Maybe I’ll torrent it, but they can forget any cash commitment.

It better be better than the 360 version because they have no reason to delay the PC version. All it is, is a change of controls and compatibility. Some icon changes, some menu changes and that’s it. It takes like a month or two extra tops, I don’t know why Ubisoft Montreal struggled so much with the PC version.

they know you want to play and they know thats on pc half the ppl will download it.
So they want to make some money before by selling it for console.

That’s not true actually. They hurried up with the PC port of Double Agent, which resulted in a horrible game full of bugs that they have not even bothered to try and fix through patches.
And I will at least download the demo before i buy the game, I have lost all confidence in Ubisoft after they destroyed the Splinter Cell series by making such a poor PC version.
