New Assassin’s Creed X Address Bar Button
Published by projectego on July 1, 2007
This latest ACX news post isn’t what you might call urgent - or even all that news-worthy. However, I’d been meaning to get round to developing a graphic for Assassin’s Creed X that would display in a users’ internet browser address bar. These graphics — also known as ‘favicons’, in the wonderful world of webmastery — serve to help give off a much more professional feel to a website, in my opinion anyway.
While it may not be the largest thing in the world - it does its job. ![]()
The new favicon will also help our visitors to distinguish our site from others - for instance: should they be browsing multiple websites simultaneously with the use of the oh-so handy tabs that come with all your favourite internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc).
As I said before: it’s not earth-shattering news but I’m here to keep you up to date with the goings-on at Assassin’s Creed X and… well… that’s what went on!
You might also notice this little extra in effect within our Assassin’s Creed Forum, too.
