No Assassin’s Creed Demo Planned

In a recent interview, Jade Raymond, Producer on Assassin’s Creed, sat down to discuss elements such as Art Direction, the 40 hours of gameplay, downloadable content and has confirmed that Ubisoft will not be releasing a Demo of Assassin’s Creed.
No, we’re not making a demo. This game is more like a sandbox style game where there’s a lot of things, so it’s not a linear mission where you can say, OK, we’re making a demo and we’re giving you this mission. There’s no way to say, OK, we’re going to cut up this square of the city and give that to you in a demo because then you can’t run around or do the gameplay. There’s no way to really make a demo.

No Assassin’s Creed demo? Shame. I really would have loved to have taken in for a quick spin to help give me a taster of what the full Assassin’s Creed game will be like. Oh, well.

Means they get to polish the full game some more, id have liked a demo but id rather they concentrate on the full game.

They did but it was a showoff demo of a small section only and not a full release demo.
